Default [Pending] Trying to reboot in safe mode...

Hello everyone and Thank You for the help.

I have been trying to reboot windows in to safe mode as part of instructions I have gotten from this website to clean Spyware and Virus from my PC. Every time i start the booting process it starts scrolling the files that are being loaded and pauses at Mup.sys which I know is normally a large file to load, but after about 5-10 secs the PC will reboot its self.

Im not sure what is going on and would like some help on this.

Thank You again for your help

~Brian

You should be able to "Force" boot into safe mode"\:
Go to Start/ run/msconfig/ BOOT.INI tab--in the menu at bottom you should see a check-box next to "safeboot" check it close msconfig

Once you have done what you need to-- you must go back to msconfig and UNcheck that box --or it will keep booting into safemode.

Yep That is correct it may not allow you to go into safemode but you may force it into it with out any problems.
