Do you mean the 8800GTX card? All the 8800GT I see on newegg are actually cheaper than 8800GTS's. Assuming I'm looking at the correct card the most expensive GT is this one: Newegg.com - PNY VCG86512GXPB-OC GeForce 8600GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
(About $150)

Where as a GTS can cost anywhere from $200-$400 for example:
Newegg.com - BFG Tech BFGR88640GTSOCE GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

Do you have a link to the card you suggest? As I said I can afford a GTX (About $500) But if it's not much of an improvement over the $150 8800GT card then I would rather not bother.

Not the 8600GT the 8800GT.Heres a link.Any of those is an 8800GT.Heres a chart against the 8800GTS.

More benchmarks. If you could find an SLI board which i couldnt find and got 2 8800GT and SLI them it would be around 50%faster than the GTX and about 30 dollars more.

I meant the GT model because of the price but if budget is no issue I would get the GTX model it's a very nice card

Opps can't believe I didn't notice I was looking at the 8600GT's.

I'll ask if the guy can find a motherboard that would work and has SLI. Thanks for all the help so far.

So last question. Do you think I should get the two GT's (Or even one) or a GTX and SLI it later when it has become cheaper and is needed?

Well it depends on if you want a faster pc than a GTX now with about the same cost but 50% faster OR a bit slower of a pc but you can get about 50%faster than the 2 8800GT.
