anyone help pls!
My computer cannot start up.
After switching it on, it beeps ten short times before shutting down again.
When I press tab to "POST screen", lines of data appear, together with a line blinking in red reading "WARNING: CPU FAN DOESN'T WORK NORMALLY!!!..."
At the top of the screen it reads American Megatrends, and as i checked in the internet ten beeps means a CMOS shutdown register read/write error (i don't know what that means)

i use a hp Compaq d220 MT.
