Ok so i want to be able to dual boot two system operating systems on two different HDD's in my desktop pc...

I have one HDD already a 40GB Samsung with windows xp pro installed...

And a 12GB Western Digital ready to be formatted and have linux installed...

But the problem is i am told i have to figure out how to dual boot the both because i dont want to have both OS's on the same hard disk drive.

Can anyone point me out to an online guide or give me a step by step guide to solving this....

Any help would be great...

I am already in the process of downloading Ubuntu 7.10 if this will be of any help and SystemRescueCD also...

I have downloaded and burnt to disk a free copy of Linux Mandriva off their official website but i cant even figure out how to boot this disk...

Please Help ?
