Default Sound Problem

Hey guys.

I am having a problem with my sound.

I have a laptop, and when I plug my desktop speakers into the one and only jack on the laptop, the sound plays out of the desktop speakers, but also out of the laptop speakers.

I would like to have it playing out of the laptop speakers when the desktop speakers arne't plugged in, and only playing out of the desktop speakers when they are plugged in.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

You probably need to go into control panel, sound speech and audio and change the settings

The only way you'll be able to do this is change the type of speakers in the sound settings: Control Panel >>> Sounds & Audio Devices >>> Speaker Settings >>> Advanced

Desktop Stereo Speakers, when you have the external speakers plugged in, and Laptop Stereo Speakers, for when you don't have the external ones connected.
