So nearly every time I open up a folder, My Computer, My Doccuments or otherwise, it will close automatically, explorer will restart, and all windows, except for programs and browsers will close automatically. I'm inclined to believe its a virus, because when a window freeze and explorer restarts, I see IEXPLORER listed on my task manager. Its been really hard to combat this since I can't keep any folders open without restarting explorer, does anyone know what may be wrong?

Have you scanned your system with your anti-virus program?
Its possible you have a corrupt user profile, if you have another profile try opening using it. If you do not have one create one and try it.
