Default Watermark???

Okay, I just got home and my computer said the standard windows update thing"your computer has just recieved a major security update" or something along those lines. Now, there is a Windows XP Home Edition SP2 watermark or line of text or w.e in the bottom right hand corner of my desktop. How do I remove it?

hello drahant, welcome to PCHF. We will do our best to assist you with your problem, but unfortunately this is not my area of expertise. I will look into it, and ask someone to take a look.

Is your Backround the same? And is it a part of the backround or is it actually text able to be highlighted?Try changing your desktop background.

I have. it's similar to how, say, the Safe Mode text shows up when you're in safe mode. it's not part of the background, and its not highlight-able text.

Try restarting your computer and make sure it starts in normal mode.
