actually no sorry my hd is on a seperate cable ...but the cable thats attached to me rom has 2 bits on so i can connect 2 roms ...

for some reason i cant get a rom to work on me pc ...it seems tempermental as only a certian couple have worked on my pc ..say 2 out of 8 ...ones a dvd rom not writer ...ones a cd rom ....when i plug them in there not going past the loading screen for windows its pretty strange.

Hi first thing I would try is another cable-- those ribbon cables are famous for failure / weak connections. They do not cost much-- or even if you have another lying about
