yesterday i format my computer because it was getting slow. then i try to connect my flashdrive usb and it is not detecting the device? what happen it was working? i thought it was something wrong so i bring it to the shop to get it fixed they test it out saying it was alright your usb is working. when i got it home and tried my flashdrive usb again it's not working. what can i do to get it detecting the usb again?
ps operating systems is windows xp service pack 2.

 have you tried the USB drive in another PC it could be the problem. When they tested the USB at the shop did they use your usb drive or one of there devices?

Have you installed your chipset drivers as well as the USB drivers for your motherboard (if there are any)?
