Windows XP/2000 - explorer.exe hangs on startup posted in the Operating Systems forums; have had this problem for long so i don't remember. will try the administrator account....

seams to be solved now. not 100% sure but it looks like it. havn't had the problem the latest tries.

I have no idea of what solved it. maybe turning off cftmon.exe?? what was that?
