lyxell, there's a lot of things that can cause this. First of all, download and run Microsoft RegClean:

Next, I want you to go to Start > Run, and run msconfig. Disable ctfmon.exe.
Next, try Start > Run, and run sygverif.
Another cause is, oddly enough, if you have very large Zip files in the root of your drive. If you do, move them elsewhere and it may fix it.
