I believe that I own a valid copy of XP professional (I've got the validation keys - the packaging looks legit - I've owned it for over 5 years) but now I can't get MS to validate it as genuine. In working with the tech folks at MS they've asked me to remove Microsoft Office XP professional from my system. I see the tab for it in add and remove programs -- BUT - isn't this the OPERATING SYSTEM for my computer? What will happen if I remove it? Am I crazy? Are they? Suggestions?
Hi there and welcome to PCHF, Office XP is not your Operating System. Office XP is a bundle of applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.
