Default Internet Explorer 6 and Win XP

Hey Everyone,

I am A newbie so bear with me!.

I Have windows xp and internet explorer 6. I want to block MYSELF from a paticuar website as its turned in to a bad habit and lets just say its killing my bank account lol.
I have tried blocking this via the hosts file but i really wanted some kind of permanent password protection? maybe something that can randomly generate a password so i cant unlock it in any way.

Is there any other way to do this?

Many Thanks.

Hi and welcome,

I have no past experience with having to do this but did you look at third party software yet?
permanently block a website with a password - Google Search=

Do as Hengis said, but get somebody else to set the password for you if you cannot find way to generate a random password. And anyway, it would be faster and alot easier. You dont always have to reffer to a technical solution. :P
