wanna make some back up cd's.. and a while back
i disabled a bunch of services listed as useless or near useless and shouldn't run for security benefits... before this i could burn cd's. after a few months everything was fine until i tried to burn cd's... im using windows xp to burn and cdburner xp pro 3
i get a please insert disc into drive error even though theres a blank in it

solutions I've tried:

use multiple different cd's - did not work.
try different software - did not work.

i haven't tried to enable any services though... does anyone know of any windows native services that are integrated with the cd burning process? or other advice in this matter
