Following a recent predicament with a hidden task, I was offered help from staff here at PCHELPFORUM which I greatly appreciate.

Uunfortunately, as can bee seen in my thread about it, I am pretty much stuck with this because the criteria to find out whats going on, ie safe mode and stuff, makes it impossible to find out whats going on.

I think alot of people would like to know how to control their own pc.

i think also, that windows on its own can show us where and what is running, that doesnt show up in task manager... after all, windows can run these tasks, yet cannot seem to remove unwanted programs etc.

I really do appreciate the help i was given here but it couldnt do anythin for me.

Is the link to the thread if you need to understand the problem, I would have added a screen shot but task switching (Alt + Tab) doesnt show up on a printscreen.

Can you have a look at the following and tell us if you have a similar "no name" process in this list;

Start > run > type msconfig > startup tab.

hi Hengis, I have looked and everything looks normal in there. At least, everything has a detail next to it.

Try disabling all in that list and then reboot to see if the mystery task returns.

I have found i can Alt + F4 the task, next time it comes up i will try that tool and update you...

I really would like to see what it is and be able to see any process running and end it if "I" choose to., Hengis, is the tool above gonna show me that ? I understand it could be down to anti terror laws why we cant see exactly whats going on our pc's, plus, this thread is very quiet, I would like to hear other peoples opinions on this matter, that "everyone" has to deal with.
