If u havent read my other posts they consist of me telling you about how windows removed my drivers for my wireless card that is built into the laptop. Since none of the advice i was given worked i thought i might as well just reformat. and if i thought i was lost before. i just reformated not even and hour ago. it boots and i switch on my wireless...wrong. the light is still amber and there are no wireless drivers or anything installed on the computer. i have absolutely no idea why the adapter would not be there after a fresh reformat. the only thing i could think of is that somehow the adapter internally got damaged or fried. can someone help please?

i did not read ur other posts but yes even after a fresh installation the driver is not working then the adapter must be fried.

so what should i do then? i mean the laptop is not even a year old. how should i go about replacing it?
also is there a way of testing it?

do you have the drivers cd that came with the laptop?
