Hi everyone. I own a hp dv6000 laptop. Last night I saw an update from xp. I didnt update it at the time because I was busy. When I woke up this morning I found out that the power went out. I got on to my computer and saw that it ran the update. Heres where im am lost. My wireless driver was gone. The driver, icon anc even connection in network connections was gone. So i rebooted. Or atleast tried too. It takes forever to reboot now if it even does. The lights come and it makes noises but nothing happenes. I mean i registerd to the forums and made this post and it still has not booted. So can anyone please help me?

i uninstalled the updates however i can not find a working restore point. i reformatted not even a month ago. ive tried probobly about 5 different restore points even and it said that not of them worked. what should i do? also i tried reinstalling the drivers using the hp restore in the system however that didnt work. i also downloaded the drivers earlier from hp and transfered to my laptop and that also didnt work. so i am still lost as how to restore my wireless. Will i have to reformat once again?
