Hello,
Im having some problems with my BT Home Hub. A few times a day the connection drops for no reason. Most of the time i need to turn the hub off and then back on but occasionally it can be fixed by repairing my wireless connection. Iv looked for solutions to my router problem but have not been able to find any and BT seem to consider turning off and back on a valid fix. I am waiting to see if the update fixes anything, but im not holding my breath (moral of the story - Dont get a BT home hub).
For the rare occasions where a repair fixes my problem does anyone know if it it possible to have windows, or any program, automatically repair (fully disable, re-enable, connect etc) my wireless network when it disconnects. This may make my connection a little more bearable untill i sort out my main problem.
Thanks.
p.s i just had to repair my connection so i could post this, HA!

Hey Bruce, do you have a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection by any chance? I have a BT Home Hub too and (believe it or not) the only way I have been able to maintain a consistent connection is to...wait for it....plug in the USB connection AS WELL as having the wireless enabled. It seems as though one compensates for the other BUT years in IT tells me that this just ain't right. Thing is I just don't have the time to go thru the BT "support" channels to get it replaced with another faulty unit. Name another product in your home made by Thomson...go on, I challenge you....
