Liteon External Usb Drive Not Recognized

I Have Xp In My Pc , And My External Liteon Rewiritable Drive Is No T Recognized , I Get The Unknown Device Error ? Any Help , Thanks

no. it suppose to be one of throes that is plugnplay , I have no problem with one of my PC , with exp at home , so I have no idea what's going on here

Did you check the usual stuff..try another usb socket, change the usb cable?
Also, you may like to try removing the USB devices in Device Manager then reboot and let Windows re-discover them all.

is not the cable . tried a different cable , same problem , i still get the same error
