Default Computer keeps shaking...Graphics Card problem? (HijackThis Log)

Hi,

My computer screen keeps shaking, and things like VPU recover keep showing up, and then the computer screen goes black and I have to restart. Obviously it's something to do with the graphics card, but I guess it could also be security. Could someone please look at this log and then guide me in what I should do?

Also, I installed some Text To Speech program, and I used control panel to uninstall it. But it's still running and everything. Could that be a possible cause?

Thanks

What kind of video card do you have? I'll guess it'll be an ATI radeon because you were talking about VPU recover.
Have you tried installing the latest drivers for your GPU?

Yeah, It's a Radeon. I've tried installing the drivers but they don't seem to install properly, and after installing the drivers, I restart and it says the graphics card drivers are not installed. So I don't know what to do.

Hi Madmatt,

I didn't know how to remove all the gaphics cards in the device manager, but I removed all the software for the graphics card and then installed that again. Although it doesn't seem to work, and it now freezes at the login screen. What should I do? It seems to be fine when it is at a resolution of 800x600 and I just installed the drivers, but when I restart. It didn't work the first 2 times, What should I do?

Thanks
