Default Help! Some files have become invisible!

Hi,

Some of my files have become invisible in my folder. The files are still there in the folder because when I try to save a new file with the same name, an error message comes up and says a file with the same name already exists.

I have tried going to Tool, File Option and clicking Show Hidden and Protected files, but that was not successful. I have also tried going to Start menu and Search for the files, but it couldn't find them.

I have been saving more files since I discovered the problem, and there is no problem most of the time. However, sometimes when I save a new file, it becomes invisible straight away as I can't locate them in the folder.

What is happening? Please help!!!! Thank you all!

Hi 1 Day Ago 09:03 AM lexmarkauriga.

Making all File Visible

Open Explorer
On the toolbar click Tools > Folder Options
Click the View tab.
In the section Advanced Settings, in the sub-section Hidden Files and Folders click the circle next to Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Click OK.

The effect is immediate – Explorer will refresh the view and you will be able to see any hidden files and folders.

Hi, thanks for the advice! Unfortunately my problem seems to be more trivial and Show Hidden Files and Folders did not work. Got any more tricks that I can try?
