Default [Fixed] My Pictures

Hi can anyone help with this one
i got a virus last week on my computer i managed to get rid of it but in the procces i have lost my shortcut for my pictures from the start menu
my pictures are still in my docs
i have tried going into the start menu properties and selecting it as display as a link but it still doesnt show on my start menu
any help would be appreciated

Find the "my pics" folder/right click/scroll down to "send to"/ hover the pointer/menu should popup with "desktop (create shortcut)" create shortcut/ open start menu/click and drag shortcut to start menu.

tried that and it dont work
when i drag and drop the short cut nothing happens

1) Try right-clicking the desktop shortcut on the desktop --see if "pin to start menu" is there.
2) if THAT does not work-- there is a registry hack-- either manual/downloadable as script (your Anti Virus may react to scripts)
