Question [Closed] 2 Problems: Ram and monitor.

Hi there. I have two problems, which I will now outline. These are both occuring on a new computer, had it for about a month.

My motherboard, Gigabye GA-P31-S3L. I have 4 RAM ports, but only 2 work as far as I know. I'm trying to put two new sticks into the remaining two ports, and they don't detect, and sometimes make my PC freeze on boot. Not sure why they don't wanna work, that's why I'm here.

Second of all. My monitor is a Sansung S910, 19", and my Graphics card is a Gigabyte GeForce 8600GT 256mb. Sometimes when I power up my computer the monitors light stays orange and I don't hear a system beep, but other times it goes green, I get the beep and we're good to go. A few restarts usually fixes this problem, but I wish it always worked.

Thanks for reading, hope someone can help. Some furthur information: E6750 Core 2 Duo I think the chip is.elixir memory is being used in the two current ports, and is also being put into the new ports (that don't seem to work). Thanks again.

Hi Thema,

You have posted five times with the same problems. IF you wish to make a change to one of your threads then click Edit at the bottom of the post, don't make a new thread.

Please don't multiple post as it makes it hard for people helping you to keep on track. I will separate your threads into two problems.

Monitor Problem:

RAM Problem:

This thread and the other duplicates are now closed.
