For some strange reason Media Player has stopped working completely. I have been using v10 and all of a sudden everytime I try to launch it the only message that comes up is a internal error occured. I have tried to remove it via add/remove and nothing is listed there for media player. Full scans have been performed for spyware, malware and virii and nothing was found. I even tried system restore to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove and reinstall it without doing a reinstall of windows???

Thanks for the response. It is just really frustrating when nothing has been added or changed on the system and it doesn't give you specifics to do more in depth troublweshooting or searching for answers

Try visiting the Microsoft update site and downloading WMP 11 Here..
