Question [Answered] Partitions

Hi guys, I want to reformat and perform a clean install of XP tonight sometime, at the moment I'm just downloading all the programs and drivers I'll need so I can stick them on the cd. One thought that's been troubling me is how I'm going to set up my partitions, I don't want to go with the usual one partition with Operating System and everything on, I don't find this to be efficient at all. Could anyone possibly give me a bit of advice, maybe tell me from experience what tends to be the best set up? I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to this subject, I'm usually quite apprehensive about partitions because it confuses me. I've done a little research and to be honest, only found one good resource from aumha.org, where the user gives an example of his setup/layout and tells you how to move the default locations of your program files and documents, which is what was confusing me in the first place.

If anyone could be of assistance I'd really appreciate it.
