Default [Resolved] Murphies Law Strikes again

Lets just say my computer didn't have the best of days yesterday.

Heres what happened.

I spilt some poweraid on my G15 and destroyed that keyboard.... no problem when out and purchased a new one.

Then my Wireless G pci adapter continued to die, no problem replaced that card with a Linksys G pci adapter.

The software that linksys provided froze apon installation. and i got some random errors, restarted the computer and it wouldn't allow me to reinstall the linksys software. tried uninstalling the original version of it and i was getting a file not found message when i tried to uninstal it.

start reinstalling the software again and it works. Computer freezes. mouse wont move no blue screen of death. ctrl alt delete does not work. hold the pwoer button down bring the computer back up.

fix the wireless network somehow.
start playing World of warcraft... 10 minutes in comp freezes.... restart hour later comp freezes... restart 10 minutes later comp freezes... restart... windows doesn't boot properly.... just goes past windows screen and sits at a blank black screen...

Went into safe mode thinking it might have been something with the software.... Uninstalled a bunch of programs... some that just needed to go and all of my wireless adapater software... i had 3 different wireless adapters and just took off all of the connecting software because i just use windows to connect.

I shut down the machine... reboot windows normally.... freezes shortly after.... couldn't even load wow up this time....

Beginning to think its hardware related... not sure what to do

Now that you have narrowed it down to the adapter, try putting it back in - this time making sure that it is fully seated in its slot. And keep your fingers crossed.

I think the drivers are whats really making the system crash... going to remove those and reinstall the hardware... this time not using linksys installation system... and i am keeping my fingers crossed... if it doesn't work i'll just get another brand of adapter...
