Windows XP/2000 - [Pending] A small question about processor speed posted in the Operating Systems forums; This is a small problem but before, on my previous windows installation, my processor's speed was reported at 1008mhz, now it's at 900mhz,. how can I fix this...if I can?...

Default [Pending] A small question about processor speed
This is a small problem but before, on my previous windows installation, my processor's speed was reported at 1008mhz, now it's at 900mhz,. how can I fix this...if I can?

Processors often "throttle down" to a lower speed to save power... have you checked it under load?
