Default [Pending] Pc wont work properly after clean

Hi guys, sorry my 1st post has to be a 'please help' post. I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right area of the forum, if I've not then please accept my appologies.

I cleaned my system out using various cleaners like I've done a million times before, but when I rebooted I got some strange problems occuring.

It's like all my Pc settings have gone back to default. My desktop pic has gone, and the Pc wont let me pick another. My avast wont show in system tray. I cant drag n drop nothing to the recycle bin, as when I do it just end up next to the bin. When I open the bin I get a windows error saying it needs to close. Hijackthis wont fix any problems I've found. My Tune up utilities wont let me optimize the Pc settings (always worked before the clean). My homepage says MSN, when I change it to Google and close then reopen the page, it's back to MSN again, I cant get it to change to any other. Whatever changes I make dnt work, they work until I close then reopen the page, this is the same with my folders also e.g. I changed my music folder to view by 'list', but when I closed and reopened it went back to view by 'details'.

I dnt know whats going on, can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there .
