That's what I'm here for Tay, no problems. You won't need to reformat as it's your RAM memory, as apposed to HDD memory. It will be a simple case of swapping out your stick(s) of memory and replacing them (I'll talk you through doing this as well). I will cost a little depending on how much RAM you have, but you won't lose anything.

Yay!! Great news!! Thank you for your help.. Really is much appreciated! It's funny coz, my computer is still under the protection time, free repair and parts and I called one of the service people before posting here and all they were going to do (before even bothering to ask about error reports etc) was "walk me through" deleting every single thing on my computer.. which, I don't know if I am wrong.. but if it is a problem with corrupt RAM like you said, wouldn't actually fix the problem? So, then I would have lost everything and still not had a properly working computer.. and even if it did fix it by deleting all.. well, I still prefere your suggestion where I can fix it and still keep things!!!

Hmm, I am rambling.. sorry, hehe.. just very very pleased and grateful for your help!!

Any time Tay. Wiping everything is an easy option for a tech.. "yep, just format everything will be OK", but I personally prefer to reformat as a last resort. There is always something you forget to copy, or lose the CD for. I think I've formatted my PC once in the last 4 years, and that was only because I wanted an upgrade. Like you said, if it's a RAM problem, it won't cure the problem.

EDIT: Marked as Answered (for now).
