Does it have the (dot)exe extension on that file ?
Do you have an AV running ?
You could try uninstalling the sound card first from device manager-- then retry the install-- with your AV disabled (they interfere sometimes)... Even running the install while in "safe mode"
This procedure is what they have on their support site-- I don't understand why it would not work... I have to go for a while (work)
I will try to think of a solution-- later on.

I have also alerted some of the other techs-- be patient.

Ok whats the make/and model of your sound card? Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Then click on the Hardware Tab and select Device Manager. From here expand the Sound, Video and Game Controllers vategory, and you should have an entry such as AC97 Audio Device.

I had to do a force install of the drivers but now I havining another problem. When it plays it has an echoe sound to it, which is why I uninstalled it in the first place. Does anybody have any ideas on what this could be and how I can correct it?

It's not the volume level, it don't have anything to do with that; it's something else and I just don't know what it is.
