Basicly when i insert anything usb i will get a noise or somthing saying its been pluged in but thats it if i look in my computer nothing is coming up.But what i find rather weird is that i can still use my 2 optical mice of it without a problem.Oh and it will do the same for my sony camera meory stick.

Ahhh no problem the quality of help hear well worth the wait.

but one thing i do have to add i used the cd that came with the camer and now i can get photos off it but my memory stick and memory card are stilll not showing up...i get the nice little bee boop noise and the a green light on the memory stick comes on but thats it.

Are any other USB devices troubling you besides the memory stick? From experience, sometimes those are formatted in a weird way which makes accessing data complicated or impossibly without using the bundled software. My mother has one that will show up as a USB device as well as a CD Drive (odd, eh?) and the files are stored in a hidden folder in the USB device. Even through formatting this doesn't change, so there's a chance your USB stick is similar in design to make retrieving data from it without the bundled software a pain.

urrm well the only things that have not are my mass external memory my memory stick and my memory card.ill do a few tests l8er but my room is being redone so all my stuf is packed away and its my bday and i have college tmoz so its all a bit hectic.
