Question [Answered] Upgrade to 2000 .. Will it affect my ghost of 98
Tonight I will be installing Windows 2000 on a computer. Now if for some reason something goes terribly wrong, I have a backup disk that was made I believe with Norton Ghost which is supposed to restore my computer to its original, fresh install of Windows 98SE.

My question is, that backup disk was made for FAT32 and when I install 2000 I will be converting my drive to the more secure NTFS.

Will that affect whether or not my backup disk works or not?

Seeing as a Ghost image restore will completely blow away the existing information on the partition, no, you should have no problems.
