Unhappy Freezes
I have just spent the last 2 days reformatting and reinstalling Windows XP Pro w/SP 2 and all the updates. My problem is that every time I try to click the Add/Remove programs icon my pc freezes. It also freezes when I try to access certain program files on my D drive.

Hi there, so it only just started doing it 2 days ago?

Have you changed any parts in the computer at all recently?

You may also want to try and open up your case and clean out any dust and make sure everything is connected correctly.

I'm not a tech so I know no where near as much, just a couple of things to try while waiting

I had just reinstalled Windows XP Pro w/SP2 last week before I posting. No new parts, everything is cleaned, dust free, and connceted correctly.
