I installed it in safe mode and just now i got the limted connectivity error...

I checked the events tab and there's no 4226 but there are event IDs 1007 and 1003 (1003 happening first) -- both sources are Dhcp

Edit: The connection went down again just now... another check of the event log showed the same two IDs
I do have a lot of Tcpip information events also, ID 4201

Everytime this happens, my connection icon shows and excellent signal strength and it still shows me connected at about 36Mbps but it won't load and webpages and AIM/MSN disconnects

Well what it sounds like to me is a problem of signal strength, I am not sure how far away you are from your wireless modem but is there any way you could situate yoursel closer to the modem? Basically -everything- effects wireless signal, televisions, microwaves OTHER PEOPLES WIRELESS CONNECTIONS, and so on. Do you know how to change the channel your modem broadcasts on? Is there an antenna on your modem? Does your pc have an antenna?
