can anyone tell me if windows 2000 is easy to install.
I have ntfs partitioned, and xp currently installed and have run out of product codes. i have bought windows 2000 pro and its on its way. can you boot using the cd like windows xp. i know its easier than 95 to install as windows 95 needed dos.

you can call microsoft and activate is manually over the phone. thats what i had to do a while back

dunno. never used it. it shouldnt be any harder to install than XP or ME, or 98 though.
