Hello,

I am trying so hard to just format my computer. But I have no idea how. Its not like on my 32bit system where I just restart the computer and push F8 or F10 or something and it takes me right to the destructive recovery. I am confused.

If anybody can help me that would be much appreciated.

Hi gonzo, welcome to the PCHF.

When you reinstall Windows, you need to boot off the CD, and it will give you the option of formating your drives.

Very straight forward and easy to do

If you are just looking to wipe a drive for space then just go to the drives inside windows and right click and select (format...)
