If you see programs that should not be in the list you can un-tick them, reboot and in the box that pops up, select "don't show this message again"

Hi again.
Ok Hengis, I've taken screen shots of what you asked, but it wont let me upload it on here because it keeps telling me that the files are too large, even though i've done it 3 stages. Do you want me to shrink them and then you magnify them or should i send them to you directly? I've tried them in both word and paint, but to no avail.
I'm really sorry about this, but I am really grateful for your time and help in this matter.
Ange

No problem, use the hosting link in the "Post Reply" screen - imageshack. You can host there and just post the links to the images.

Hi yet again Hengis,
Thanks for the pointer on the image shack.
Hopefully, if i've done it right, they should be at the following pages.

I really am grateful for all your help you know. If all the hackers and people who create the virus' did as much to help us, this would be a much better place.

Excellent work! - Start by un-ticking the ones with no entry.

I am going to have to ask you to do it again tho, this time with the comand details showing more please.

Hi Hengis,
Apologies for the delay in replying to you.
I would love to send you the screen shot again, just one question.........how do I lengthen the command line????
When I fetch up the system config box, all there is in the top corner is the red X, I've gone all the way round the box and no arrow has shown up to let me enlarge the box either.
Even my daughter, who thinks herself quite computer savvy is stumped on this one.
So if you tell me how its done, then I'll get the screen shot set up ASAP.
Many thanks,
Ange.

P.S. I did use a download from Kellys Corner that was a taskbar fix-it-all.....but found that I still have to use this every time I boot the pc up!

Hi flame, to lengthen the command line you have to hover your cursor to where it says Command and just to the right of it there will be a little | line. Hover your cursor over here and hold left mouse button and drag to the right.
