Default [Fixed] Can't click on DISPLAY in Display Properties

Hi everyone. Hope you are having a good day. I have a question. I recently added a download of Vista Wallpaper for Windows XP and it had an installation file. I installed and I guess it must have gone into the Windows XP Wallpaper because when I right click on desktop and properties and try to click on the word DISPLAY to change the background, it sticks there and says *Program not responding*. I did a complete restore to an earlier time before the install because I couldn't uninstall from *Add Remove Programs* and it is still happening.

I've visited a few help sites to see if I could fix the problem but I can't find a solution. Can you help please and thank you kindly.

Hi there,

Did you try to uninstall the program thru Windows Safe-Mode yet?

No I haven't gone through safe mode. I just did a system restore and reverted to back before it was installed since I couldn't find it in Add Remove Programs

I tried it and I seem to be able to get in. However when I'm in Display, it takes much longer to get in that section because there are lots more backgrounds in there. Motorcycles and a bunch of junk. Can you tell me where to go to get rid of them without reinstalling XP completely and losing all my settings?

Thank you
