I have a wired one and its fine but this one the volume and othet things not needed to type words etc work and the letters dont..Installed active sync byw.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the wireless keyboard works for all keys except the actual letters.

If that is the case, I would suspect a defective keyboard. I don't think I have ever seen a setting that turns off the letter keys. I would check to see if there is a function lock key. If you have function lock turned on, that is the only thing that could really disrupt the letter keys. But otherwise, it is probably just a bad keyboard.

If you have a manual for it, check to see if there is something that you could have done to turn the letters off.....which I doubt.
