My mother has a HP computer with Windows XP with SP2. Recently she has been complaining of it being VERY slow. I have done a disk cleanup, defragment and maxed her out on her memory (512). Is there any new tips that can speed up her system? Maybe stop some programs from running in the backround constantly? She currently has 55 processes running, some of which I do not know what they are for.
Any ideas would be helpful.
