I use multiple email profiles with Outlook 2002. For the sake of simplicity, let's say that I send you an email with email profile 1, then you reply back. If I just reply to your email, Outlook 2002 will send it from the next email profile. So you will receive the reply from email profile 2. If you reply to that email and then I reply back, Outlook 2002 will send it through another profile. I have to manually select the correct account prior to sending the email. It seems like the default method when a user has multiple profiles would be to continue replying from the same account unless the user manually selects a different account to reply from. Have any of you run across this, and is there a way to fix this?

Generally, when Outlook "skips" to the next account or another account when replying, it means that there is some sort of problem with the default account. Can you test the send receive functionality of the main account?

Hengis, I did a manual send an receive on the default account only and it seemed to work fine with no error messages. Is that what you mean by checking the functionality? I have outlook set up to do an auto send and receive for all accounts every 10 minutes. Not sure if that makes any difference or not.
