Browser will open and can connect to web pages , but afte a few minutes IE stops responding and have to exit. Can reconnect afterwards but will freeze shortly afterwards.

Netscape does not have any problems.

Click on Start >>> All Programs >>> Accessories >>> System Tools >>> Internet Explorer (With No Addons), and see if that solved the problem, if it does its likely to be an addon issue, if it doesnt, we'll try something else.

After disabling add-ons, was working ok for rest of the day, but frooze again tonight. This happened after shtting down, then restarting. Have disabled once again and so far ok.

Futher to above have now disabled individual add-ons such as Google, Norton,and others leaving Windows and Alice, my Italian service provider. This has done the trick. I may try and find out which one(s) are causing the problem.
