Question [Fixed] Problem with IE6

I have a big (and annoying) problem on Internet Explorer 6. Anyone who does (or used to) use this now obselete (Stupid IE7) browser will have saw this dialog appear on your monitor:

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you can send to help us improve Internet Explorer. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.

To see what data this error report contains, click here.

So you see, you think that I shouldn't matter, but it's blocking off half of my acess to the Internet! It's happening almost every time (I just hope it doesn't when I submit this )! Here are a few recently viewed websites I have got the message above:

Computeractive - simple clear computer advice
Learn French online FREE with French language lessons and unique question generator!
Amazon.co.uk: low prices in Electronics, Books, Music, DVDs & more
...and more!

So, if anyone can help, I'd be and would really give you a !

EDIT: BTW, I think I've found that the Error Code on Event Viewer of this is 1000.

welcome to the forums, ck.....error codes of 1000 is sort of a generic, catch-all dumping ground.

Have you given any though of switching to firefox?

Regardless, download atf from here, install and run it, and then see what happens. That will remove all the temp files, and empty your internet cache as well. Give that a crack, and let us know what happens.

Thanks,

v
