Windows XP/2000 - [Pending] windows live messenger logging me out posted in the Operating Systems forums; I have the latest version of windows live messenger 8.1 and over the last few weeks it has been loggin me out frequently and everytime i open a new chat ...

Exclamation [Pending] windows live messenger logging me out

I have the latest version of windows live messenger 8.1 and over the last few weeks it has been loggin me out frequently and everytime i open a new chat window. this is very frustrating and i uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem remained.

I would be grateful for help in this matter.

Hi there, could you follow the Pre Work Link in my signature and post the resulting logs as attachments for our security team to look at.

You may not have the signature option turned on. Go to My PCHF under Site Navigation on the left hand side. Click on Edit Options Scroll down untill you see a section called Thread Display Options and make sure Show Signatures is ticked.

i cant access properties of my computer as access is denied it says
"windows cannot acces the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

this is a new problems and there is another post trying to deal with this. at

so i cannot find out if system restore is on and if it is i cant get to turn it off.
