Is there a "windows (logo) key" on that keyboard?

Windows + M -- minimize all open windows
Shift + Windows + M --restores them all

that will help! didn't remember that one I'm so used to using the icon in my task bar on my home machine...;-)
How can I get my open windows to cascade? They seem to open where ever they want to on the screen...

Right click on the taskbar and select Cascade Windows.

Can you install stuff?

This would allow you to create all kinds of custom commands (freeware)
