Default [Pending] Win XP x64 issue

Ok, I will try and make this as easy to understand as possible. I recently installed Windows XP Professional x64 edition. I currently have two Western Digital hard drives in RAID 0 (striping) which contains the Operating System and my programs. Now, I have two other Maxtor hard drives connected to the other two SATA ports but NOT set up in a RAID array. The problem I am having is that they are not showing up in the control panel, device manager as disk drives. Instead they show up under SCSI and RAID controllers (but you have to unhide them to see them). If I click the properties of the RAID controller the two hard drives are connected to [though I don't have them set up as a RAID], it will show them as connected to that controller. When I was using the 32-bit XP they both showed up as two seperate hard drives and that is what I was hoping for here. Does anyone had an idea on how to fix this issue?

On a side note, they show up as removable storage [but only in the system tray under the green arrow icon to remove hardware safely] but not under 'My Computer'.

Yes I did. I have all of the drivers installed that came with the motherboard.

I disconnected one of the two spare hard drives from the system but still no change. It still only appears under the remove hardware icon as well as a hidden item under SCSI and RAID controllers. =(
