Default [Fixed] Scandisk all the time?

my comp wants to do a scan disk every time i reboot all of a sudden or just reboots by itself for no reason...it actually happened when I logged into this site this morning. Just rebooted asked me to do a scandisk so I did and all appeared ok. So i rebooted again and it wants to do it again I tried to pwr down and when I restarted it does it again (scandisk)....Any ideas what is going on?

Thanks

Hi

Try running scandisk from within Windows - it should cancel the request on boot.

When you restart your computer are you going to the start menu to restart?
Or are you physically pressing the restart button on your case?

I aam unable to run it from the "Start Run " and I don't see an option to run it through system tools either.

TO Cowburn...Yes I choose start turn off shut down restart/ and or shutdown

It is saying:
WIndows found errors on the disk but will not fix them because chkdsk was run without the /F (fix) parameter .
"\WINDOWS!\PRefetch\CHKDSK>EXE-3860C82E.pf First allocation unit is not valid. The entry will be truncated.
