Default Re: Set Program Access and defaults
One option,

- Reboot your PC, and keep pressing F8 during startup until your reach your Windows startup options. Select Safe Mode from the list.

- Once your PC boots up into safe mode, type in Administrator as your username, followed by the administrator password if one was set during it's original installation. Otherwise this password will be blank.

- Go to My Computer, Control Panel followed by User accounts.
- Click on New Account and give that account a name. (Set as Computer Administrator).

- Reboot your PC as normal. Before you reach your desktop, you will see a welcome screen, select your new account.

See if you can do everything you need to do with this new account.
