Default [Pending] help. tower not powering, or working.

i turned my pc off last night before i went to bed. come home switched it on, the monitor was on and the tower started to load, after bout 10 seconds my tower turned off for no reason.
i tried changed the power wire, switched off at the wall, switched my power switch on and off on the back of my tower. AND NOTHING!

the lights on my wirless mouse and keyboard kept flashing. and my monitor still come on. its just my tower, anyone got any idea what has happened?

Hi danny, welcome to the PCHF.

From the sounds of it, there's a problem with your power supply.
Or perhaps your BIOS.
Pull the power cable out of the back of the computer, and push the power button 10 times.
Plug the power cable back in, and see if that helps at all.

if that doesnt work, try this. i dont know why it works, it just does.
1.turn off switch on power supply, then unplug cable from it
2.unplug psu
3.turn off and unplug surge protector
4.plug sp back in and turn it on
5.turn on psu switch
6.plug it back in
7. if not working, try repeating several times
