I currently only have a XP home SP1 disc, and sicne support will soon be discontinued, i would like to make a Streamlined SP2 install CD/DVD. can you show me ?how please (PS i would rather do this now, and order the SP2 CD later)

can i just download the SP2 files from a website, and use that file to make the CD?

there is a link for windows xp xp2 on the left hand side of this screen. Just scroll down to MS Service packs. That is the one you want.
